EMA department has been established to hunt the hidden talent of students in fine arts, dance and music. India is the land whose traditional art forms are unparalleled in the world. Deeply rooted to the Indian ethos, they are mirror to the word that our cultural heritage is far better than theirs. The objective of EMA is to acquaint others with this rich culture of India. Every year, round about the month of September, best performers are selected in Talent Hunt competitions who further participate in various youth festivals at Zonal, Inter-Zonal and Intervarsity level. The student can participate in innumerable activities.

Sizzling Performance by EMA Team


The Folk Dance (Boys) team Luddi bagged 3rd prize in 57th PU Interzonal Youth and Heritage Festival. The team clinched 2nd prize in Punjab Stae Intervarsity Heritage Youth Festivals (2015-16). The members were adorned with university colours from the department of youth welfare.
The EMA students had a laudable performance in the Zonal Youth and Heritage Festival and brough home 22 prizes with Ghazal, One Act Play, Debate, Folk Dance (Boys), Poem Writing, Ladies' Traditional Song securing first positions.
